Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser motorcycle launched in India at Rs 2.89 lakh
The Keeway K-Light 250V is the first motorcycle in the segment with a twin-cylinder engine.
Keeway has launched the K-Light 250V cruiser motorcycle in India at Rs 2.89 lakh (ex-showroom). In the domestic market, the K-Light 250V competes against Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Honda H’Ness CB350 among others.
Unlike its single-cylinder rivals, the K-Light 250V is powered by an air-cooled 250cc V-twin engine that produces 18.4hp at 8,500rpm and 19Nm at 5,500rpm. Additionally, the K-Light 250V is the first motorcycle in its segment to feature belt-driven final drives versus chain-driven final drives like its rivals.
The motorcycle gets a fuel tank capacity of 20 liters which surpasses all its rivals. This was achieved with the weight under control and the K-Light 250V tips the scales at 179kg.
It gets a very accessible seat height of 715mm with a decent ground clearance of 160mm, so you might worry less about horrible potholes on our roads. The K-Light 250V is fitted with 16-inch rims at each end wrapped in a fat 120/80 section tire up front and a 140/70 section tire in the rear. Additionally, the company offers dual-channel ABS as standard for the motorcycle.
The Keeway K-Light 250V is available in three colors including matte blue at Rs 2.89 lakh, matte dark gray at Rs 2.99 lakh and matte black at Rs 3.09 lakh. All ex-showroom prices.
