Indian Motorcycle getting ready for IMS

Indian Motorcycle shows up this weekend at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, Calif., With big plans. The show marks the first display of the new Ride Command infotainment system.

Long Beach riders are also invited to try out the new Indian 2017 lineup, including a selection of accessorized models. Demonstrations will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Long Beach Convention Center.

The Indian Motorcycle booth will showcase the new Ride Command infotainment system, with what it claims to be the largest, fastest, and most customizable display in the industry. The Scout FTR750 flat track racing bike will be on display and fans can meet team rider Bryan Smith from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 18.

Indian Motorcycle will also be supporting the Beautiful Bikers Conference – a celebration of women who love to drive – which will take place at the Courtyard Marriott Long Beach on Friday, November 18. Registration will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

It will be followed by the Ground Pounders Block Party, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 19. Participants will be divided into sessions – long distance riding, adventure riding, start riding and accessorizing your ride – from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (“Adventure on horseback?” »On an Indian? Finally, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, participants can take part in the Beautiful Bikers Ride, picnic and photoshoot.
