Keeway has launched its fourth offering and second V-twin cruiser motorcycle in India, the Benda V302C. It comes in three color options – Grey, Black and Red, priced at ₹3.89 lakh, ₹3.99 lakh and ₹4.09 lakh, respectively.

The Benda V302C sits above the brand’s smallest V-twin motorcycle, the K-Light 250V. Although both of these cruisers have a V-twin configuration, the Benda gets the larger 298cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine with 4 strokes, 8 valves and a single overhead camshaft (SOHC) that produces healthy power. of 29.5 hp at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 26.5 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. Thus, the Benda V302C is expected to offer more performance and better cruising capabilities than its cheapest V-twin counterpart in India, the Keeway K-Light 250V.

As for its features, the Benda V302C will offer dual-channel ABS, alloy wheels, nice round-shaped LCD dashboard, slipper clutch and LED for headlights and taillights. It also gets traction control settings, the details (level) of which are yet to be confirmed.

Regarding its cycle parts, the Keeway Benda V302C is equipped with telescopic fork suspensions for the front which obtains 120 mm of wheel travel, while for the rear it is equipped with double telescopic coil springs with oil shock absorbers and 42mm of wheel travel. Braking duties are handled by a single 300mm disc for the front wheels wrapped in 120/80-16 tires, while the rear wheels wrapped in 150/80-15 tires are fitted with a single 240mm disc.

The Keeway Benda V302C might be one of the cheapest V-twin cruiser motorcycles alongside the K-Light 250V. But in this price range, the Interceptor 650 is another serious contender with a twin-cylinder configuration. The Royal Enfield not only produces more power, but is also quite the VFM product. So which one to choose? Stay tuned for our spec sheet comparison between the two.

The Electra Kakau Go is an electric bike with a very particular style: it borrows the aesthetic codes of cruiser motorcycles, all at the price of 1800 euros and with a promising autonomy of 65 kilometers.

Source: Electra

If e-bike brand Electra doesn’t ring a bell, its parent company, Trek, probably should. This American manufacturer is indeed a key player in the VAE sector, and has in its pocket a few subsidiaries such as Electra or Bontrager, specializing in equipment for cyclists.

For its part, Electra has formalized a brand new connected cycle called Kakau Go, tells us Hibridos and Electricos. This model has the particularity of borrowing certain aesthetic codes from cruiser motorcycles, giving it a resolutely vintage look. We can say that it at least has the merit of visually standing out from the crowd.

Its close ties with Trek tend to suggest that the manufacturing quality and reliability of certain components will be there. The aluminum frame also benefits from its parent company’s Flat Foot technology. The idea here is to design a very specific frame geometry that provides comfort and stability.

The driving position is thus very upright, but the user is quite capable of placing the foot flat, on the ground, at each stop. And this, while having an excellent extension of his leg when pedaling.

Source: Electra

Electra also wants to emphasize comfort, although no suspension has been incorporated into the cycle. In return, a custom Kakau Go saddle! extra wide was installed alongside 27.5-inch balloon tires. As a reminder, this type of tire has the reputation of smoothing out the irregularities of the road.

Weighing 21.6 kg, Electra Kakau Go opts for a 250 W motor (25 km/h maximum) placed on the hub of the rear wheel. However, it benefits from a torque sensor which allows it to be more reactive than a rotation sensor. This also enhances the dynamism of the bike and gives it a more natural electric behavior.

Very decent battery life

On the other hand, no information was given on the torque of the engine provided by Hyena. However, this is important data for estimating the power of the VAE at start-up, uphill or in recovery. The whole thing is completed by mechanical disc brakes: at this price, a hydraulic system would clearly not have been too much.

The 250 W battery offers a theoretical range of 65 kilometers, which is more than adequate for an electric bike marketed at 1800 euros. In short, the Electra Kakau Go claims a balanced technical sheet on paper given its modest price, lower than the average price of electric bikes.

This overpriced electric mountain bike makes you dizzy

The manufacturer Haibike recently launched a new electric bike called Lyke SE. This machine impresses with its technical data sheet, but also its price of 9999 euros in its maximum configuration.

Ever since Royal Enfield launched the 650cc Interceptor and Continental GT650 twins in 2019, the bike maker has been making waves in the Indian market. The next major launch this year from Royal Enfield will be the Hunter 350, an entry-level offering. Soon to follow the Hunter will be the Super Meteor 650 cruiser, which borrows its key mechanicals such as the engine and gearbox from the 650cc twins. Two 650cc Royal Enfield cruisers have been spied recently, and at first glance the bike looks ready for launch. In terms of positioning, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 cruiser is likely to be at the very top of the range, with a higher price tag than the Interceptor and Continental GT 650.

Royal Enfield 650cc Super Meteor cruiser spied again: Looks ready for launch

The reasons are inverted front forks, alloy rims, bigger tires, Tripper navigation console and a few other feature additions. The heart of the matter will be the smooth and reliable 647cc four-stroke parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree firing angle. The engine makes 47 Bhp-52 Nm on the Interceptor and Continental GT, and similar outputs are also expected on the Super Meteor 650.

The gearbox will be a 6-speed unit with slipper clutch. In terms of safety equipment, dual-channel ABS will be standard along with hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels. Dual front disc brakes could also be offered. A low seating position and revised riding ergonomics thanks to recessed footrests are other key changes on the new bike. The new bike will likely cost less than Rs. 4,000,000. Competition for Royal Enfield’s 650cc cruiser will come from Kawasaki Vulcan 650 and Benelli 502C cruisers.

A speculative rendering of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 cruiser motorcycle

Royal Enfield is consciously playing on the mid-segment motorcycle market and showing no rush to break out of the 300-800cc segment. Come to think of it, it all makes sense. Royal Enfield’s main market is India, and the roads here are best suited for 300-800cc motorcycles. Anything more than that for recreational motorbikes may be overkill for the kind of road infrastructure India has.

Moreover, operating in this segment also allows Royal Enfield to price its motorcycles quite affordably, making them accessible to a large number of buyers in India. Apart from selling bicycles in India, Royal Enfield also has a large export market spread across the length and breadth of the world. Even in export markets, Royal Enfield is known for its bargain-priced offerings, a proposition the motorcycle giant wouldn’t want to change in a hurry.

The Keeway K-Light 250V is the first motorcycle in the segment with a twin-cylinder engine.

Keeway has launched the K-Light 250V cruiser motorcycle in India at Rs 2.89 lakh (ex-showroom). In the domestic market, the K-Light 250V competes against Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Honda H’Ness CB350 among others.

Unlike its single-cylinder rivals, the K-Light 250V is powered by an air-cooled 250cc V-twin engine that produces 18.4hp at 8,500rpm and 19Nm at 5,500rpm. Additionally, the K-Light 250V is the first motorcycle in its segment to feature belt-driven final drives versus chain-driven final drives like its rivals.

The motorcycle gets a fuel tank capacity of 20 liters which surpasses all its rivals. This was achieved with the weight under control and the K-Light 250V tips the scales at 179kg.

It gets a very accessible seat height of 715mm with a decent ground clearance of 160mm, so you might worry less about horrible potholes on our roads. The K-Light 250V is fitted with 16-inch rims at each end wrapped in a fat 120/80 section tire up front and a 140/70 section tire in the rear. Additionally, the company offers dual-channel ABS as standard for the motorcycle.

The Keeway K-Light 250V is available in three colors including matte blue at Rs 2.89 lakh, matte dark gray at Rs 2.99 lakh and matte black at Rs 3.09 lakh. All ex-showroom prices.

The 2022 Indian Scout Rogue is the American V-twin brand’s latest addition to its nascent family of mid-size Scout cruisers, adopting a club-style look to separate it from the pack. Beyond the plethora of blacked-out components, the Scout Rogue’s handful of relatively minor changes have a noticeable positive impact on ride position and handling. We’ve been hanging out with the Scout Rogue at some of our favorite spots around the Ventura coast and on the illustrious California State Route 33 to bring you the highlights.

  1. A 69ci V-twin is a modern take on the classic American V-twin engine. The Scout powertrain deviates from the American V-twin tradition by providing much more than just one-dimensional low torque and has done so since its inception in 2015. While respectable low-end thrust is available on demand, it is overshadowed by how this peppy twin-cylinder mill revs up and lets you sample its 100 horsepower and manageable 72 lb-ft of torque at 5900 rpm. Subverting other stereotypes is its comfort when wringing. The motor winds smoothly through its wide midrange and beyond, where it gives no sign of giving up ghosting or excessively vibrating. There’s enough rumble and body roll for a touch of personality that never overpowers its refined character, while a modest exhaust noise adds to this machine’s panache.
  1. The six-speed gearbox keeps the gentleman theme in play. Shifting gears on the Scout Rogue is a hearty experience, not your typical farm fanfare familiar to the cruiser class. Selecting a gear feels confident, positioning itself efficiently, which is accommodating enough for new riders. However, the cable-clutch’s relatively heavy pull seems at odds with the engine’s welcoming towable power and user-friendly gear changes. While not a problem in veteran hands, freshly trained riders might find it a pain to slip the clutch in traffic.

2022 Indian Scout Rogue Review: For Sale

  1. The mini-ape handlebar transforms the rider’s triangle on the Scout Rogue, creating a more relaxed and upright seating position. The handholds are taller and closer to the rider, pairing well with the ultra-low 25.6-inch solo seat and not-too-forward controls. In addition, the saddle offers more lumbar support when accelerating. After a full day in the saddle, my five-foot-ten frame was no worse for wear. The same can’t usually be said of cruisers with lower handlebars that articulate my body at the waist. As aesthetically pleasing as the quarter fairing is, the benefits of wind protection are apparent and appreciated at highway speeds.
  1. Dig out the quarter fairing and want one for your Scout or Scout Bobber? You can get one as an official accessory. Spruce up your Scout or Scout Bobber with the Rogue Fairing, as it is an official accessory. Rogue owners can also get a matching color, if they wish.

Indian Scout Rogue 2022 review: Price

  1. A new 19-inch cast-aluminum front wheel woke up the handling. Ditching the big front tire and smaller 16-inch wheel added some pep to the Scout Rogue’s ride, allowing the excellent aluminum chassis to strut around town or through the canyons. As nimble as it gets and offering the kind of stability that only a long wheelbase can provide, a narrow 29-degree maximum lean angle is the only thing that keeps the Rogue’s chassis from being great. Spirited riders will customize their footpegs and exhaust shields against the asphalt with capable cornering, though you’re likely to scrape hard parts if you push too hard. It’s best to remember the key word “cruise”, despite the Rogue’s reward in twisty sections.
  1. The base suspension is bolt-on to the Scout Rogue. Featuring the same non-adjustable suspenders as the other Scout models, the Rogue’s fork works well when cornering and soaking up whatever comes through its stern, though it may reside on the more comfortable side of the spectrum. Alas, suspension travel is usually the first casualty on low-seat bikes, and the twin shocks use a stiffer setup to compensate for the small two inches of wheel travel, translating the sharp hits to the rider, although the updated seat hides things better than other scout offerings. Of course, fully adjustable accessory piggyback reservoir shocks add a full inch of travel, superior damping and a burst of extra ride height for improved ride quality for $830. At this MSRP, and with a chassis as amiable as this, we shouldn’t have to spend extra parts on comfort.

2022 Indian Scout Rogue review: Cruiser Motorcycle

  1. There’s more to the brakes than meets the eye, and ABS is a $900 option. A dual-piston caliper and 298mm rotor up front can haul this 545-pound machine to a stop quickly, delivering plenty of feel, too. At the rear, a single-piston caliper and matching 298mm rotor are perfect for parking maneuvers or for reducing speed when needed. Our test units featured ABS, which costs quite a bit of money, but the benefits speak for themselves.
  1. Aesthetics are a point of pride in the V-twin world, and the Scout Rogue is no exception for Indian. Every piece and bob is meticulously tooled or finished, and, with the Rogue, everything is draped in inky black for a mean vibe. There are few complaints in this regard, except for the analog clock, which has a small, hard-to-read LCD display and lacks a fuel gauge – the trip meter and low fuel warning light will have to do the trick. ‘affair.

2022 Indian Scout Rogue Review: MSRP

  1. The 2022 Indian Scout Rogue expands the CV of the Scout platform. The Scout Rogue is a variation on a theme, and the designers have struck a nice balance with the Rogue in that its updates allow it to cover more ground and do so comfortably than some of its compatriots. A finger wiggle should always be directed at the twin short-throw shocks, while the mini-monkeys increase comfort for taller riders who might not be fans of the classic clamshell riding position. If that’s not enough, the 19-inch wheel allows the proven chassis to charm us more in all scenarios. All around, it’s a worthy addition to the Scout line that could soak up the limelight for those interested in a well-rounded cruiser.

Two-wheelers and electric cars are gaining popularity in India and across the world. Range anxiety is one of the main issues that most electric vehicle users face during the first few days of electric car ownership. In order to solve this problem, a vlogger has now found a solution. He actually converted his gasoline motorcycle to a hybrid motorcycle. The whole motorcycle conversion process is shown in the video.

The video was uploaded by Creative Etc. on their YouTube channel. The video begins with a vlogger showing off the kit he received for the conversion. He has a Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruiser motorcycle. As part of the conversion, he starts by removing the front wheels. The front forks, fenders and wheels have all been removed. He then unpacks the packaging and pulls out the alloy wheel that comes with the hub motor.

This setup allows him to make only minimal changes to the existing bike setup. Some changes were made to the forks so that the new wheel with hub motor could fit in smoothly. After making changes, the fork was painted black to give it a uniform look. After that, he headed for the disc brake. Bajaj Avenger comes with a front disc brake. The disc plate that came with the electric setup was small and the caliper couldn’t fit into it. So the vlogger cuts the inner mount points on the smaller disc and welds it with the original Bajaj Avenger disc plate.

This way the brakes worked well and the vlogger didn’t make any major changes to the front end. Once the wheel was installed, he headed for the battery. As this is a motorcycle and not a scooter, there is no underseat storage for the batteries. He then decided to install the batteries on the right side of the grab bar. For this, he chose a number of lithium-ion batteries and combined them into a single battery.

He packed the batteries properly and the connection of the cells was also done with care. The vlogger then went ahead and made a case for the battery using sheet metal. He made the case out of metal and also painted it black. The batteries have been placed and secured using old inner tubes so that the batteries do not move or shake vigorously while riding. The wires were then neatly tucked under the body panels and a separate metal box under the oil cooler was fabricated where the bike’s controller and charging port were installed. The throttle cable has also been modified to work in both petrol and electric mode.

A digital meter was placed on the handlebars to read the power. Connections were also made with the motorcycle’s original ignition switch. There was a separate switch for electric mode. The rider simply needs to turn on the key and turn on the switch to activate the electric drive mode. Vlogger does not mention the autonomy of the motorcycle in electric mode. If the rider wishes to switch to gasoline, they can simply do so by disabling the electric mode and starting the motorcycle like any other motorcycle. It is unclear whether the electric motor and gasoline engine can work at the same time or not.

Lately, many people in India tend to gift vehicles to their loved ones. Sometimes it is the parents who give a vehicle to their child and now many children also give a car or a bicycle to their parents. It’s not always parents and children. There are videos of couples giving each other such expensive gifts. Here we have such a reaction video after a YouTuber decided to gift his father a brand new Honda Gold Wing cruiser to his dad.

The video was uploaded by ASHWIN SINGH TAKIAR on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger drives his new Honda Gold Wing Cruiser motorcycle to his dad’s house to see his reaction. Vlogger had bought the bike recently but couldn’t show it to his dad as he was stuck with work. From the last video, the vloggers had already realized that the vlogger had bought the Gold Wing for him and was very excited about it.

After reaching the place, the vlogger’s father comes to see the motorbike and he is at a loss for words. Honda Gold Wing and Suzuki Intruder were his dream cruiser bikes. He started checking out the bike and the vlogger walked him through the basics of the bike. The Honda Gold Wing seen here in the video is actually Honda’s flagship model in the Indian market. Honda offers this motorcycle only through Big Wing dealerships.

Vlogger’s dad is amazed after seeing how huge this bike is. It is a heavy motorcycle and offers a long list of features with it. It comes with a keyless start. The key fob should be in the pocket and the handlebar can be locked and unlocked using the button on the handlebar. There’s an all-digital dashboard that doubles as an infotainment screen. The screen can support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The screen is controlled using the toggle buttons on the handlebars.

This is the DCT version, which means it does not come with a physical clutch lever. The buttons to shift gear from neutral to the driver and the shift knobs are all integrated on the handlebars. The motorcycle also has several storage compartments which the vlogger explains to his father in the video. The motorcycle mentioned above is very heavy and in order to make things easier for the rider, Honda also offers reverse gear with the motorcycle. It is powered by a 1,883cc six-cylinder engine that generates 126hp and 170Nm of peak torque.

After checking out some of the bike’s specs, the vlogger’s dad gets excited and starts talking about taking it on long rides. He then takes the motorbike out for a spin on the pocket road and returns with a big smile on his face. He mentions that he is riding an automatic motorcycle for the first time and that it would take him some time to get used to it. The video also included reaction from other people living in the area and they were all amazed to see the motorcycle.

We all know that electric vehicles are gaining popularity around the world. In India, things are no different either. There are several existing mainstream vehicle manufacturers who have introduced and launched many electric vehicles. As for cars, we have Tata, MG and Hyundai. In the two-wheeler segment, we see more action. There are manufacturers like Ather, TVS, Okinawa and many new entrants like Hero, Ola in this segment. Several start-ups have also emerged in the country and are working on electric vehicles. One of these start-ups is Mazout Electrique and they have developed an electric cruiser motorcycle that aims to offer a range of 300 to 350 km.

The video was uploaded by Electric Vehicles to their YouTube channel. This electric cruiser was developed by a group of engineering students from the Technical University of Delhi. In this video, one of the team members explains the technique and fittings of the bike. The motorcycle seen in the video is actually their second prototype and they are currently working on the software part of the motorcycle.

In this video, vlogger mentions that none of the manufacturers currently have an electric cruiser motorcycle on the market and that is the reason why they started working on this project. The group named its start-up Mazout Electric and the name of the motorcycle is Mazout. They might change the name when it hits production.

The overall design of the motorcycle is inspired by a cruiser motorcycle. The team worked hard to find a suitable or relaxing riding position for the rider and passenger. The team is currently working on installing a 25kWh battery in the bike which will provide longer range. If they manage to house this battery in the motorcycle, the motorcycle will return a range of 300 to 350 km, which is excellent.

The team is aiming this bike at riders who like to ride long distances. With such a long range battery, one can easily enjoy a ride without worrying about the range. The bike gets a hub-mounted motor on the rear wheels. This was done in order to generate more space in the bike for the battery.

The video indicates that the hardware part of the motorcycle is almost ready and that they are currently working on the software part. They are working on a system for the bike that would plan trips, charging would stop on its own whenever the rider provides details. The motorcycle supports AC and DC fast charging. The batteries can be fully charged in 6 hours from zero and to charge the batteries to 50% it takes about 3 hours. The bike has a top speed of 120 km/h which is quite good compared to many other products in the segment. In the video, the team member can be heard saying that since the bike will be getting a bespoke long-range battery, the price will be slightly higher. They expect the price to be somewhere between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 3.5 lakh.
