BSA is expected to unveil a new cruiser motorcycle in India next year.
In the latest development, a camouflaged test mule from the two-wheeler was spied on the roads for the first time, revealing key design details.
Photos suggest it will have a long bench seat, fork gaiters, wire wheels, and telescoping front forks.
Here are more details.
The bike will have a round headlight and a two-pod instrument cluster
The next BSA cruiser will have a muscular fuel tank, one-piece handlebars, beefy side panels, mid-level footrests, a flat-type seat, and a long, wide exhaust.
The bike will contain an instrument cluster with two lugs and a rounded headlight as well as mirrors.
It will roll on metal spoked wheels wrapped in old-fashioned Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp inner tube tires.
It will run on a 650cc fuel injected engine
In India, the upcoming BSA cruising motorcycle will be powered by a 650cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected single cylinder engine that meets the BS6 standard. However, horsepower figures and gearbox information are currently not available.
There will be disc brakes on both wheels
In terms of safety gear, the upcoming BSA cruising bike will feature disc brakes on the front and rear wheels as well as dual-channel ABS for better handling on the roads.
The suspension tasks on the bike will be performed by telescopic forks at the front and adjustable preload shocks at the rear.
What about its availability?
Details regarding the price and availability of the BSA 650cc cruising bike in India will be announced at the time of its launch. Here it will face rivals like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.
