BMW Motorrad India’s range of touring motorcycles start at Rs 23.95 lakh
Deliveries of the motorcycles will begin this month for customers who have pre-booked them.
BMW Motorrad’s long-awaited range of touring motorcycles has been launched in India. The range consists of the new R 1250 RT and three versions of the K 1600: the K 1600 GTL, the K 1600 Bagger and the K 1600 Grand America. While the R 1250 RT is priced at ₹23.95 lakh, the K 1600 Bagger, GTL and Grand America will cost you ₹29.90 lakh, ₹32 lakh and ₹33 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.
The R 1250 RT is powered by BMW’s famous twin-cylinder boxer engine (1,254 cc), which develops 134 hp at 7,750 rpm and 143 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. Thanks to these figures, the R 1250 RT accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and tops out at 200 km/h. In terms of features, it comes with BMW Motorrad‘s Full Integral ABS Pro, three riding modes (including Eco), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and a new multi-functional instrument panel with a 10-inch color TFT display. .25 inches as standard.
BMW K 1600 GTL
The K 1600 is BMW Motorrad’s premium cruiser and is powered by the brand’s inline six-cylinder engine (1,649 cc). Power and torque figures stand at 158PS at 6,750rpm and 180Nm at 5,250rpm, respectively. In terms of standard equipment, the BMW K 1600 includes engine drag torque control (MSR), a new generation dynamic electronic suspension (ESA) with fully automatic load compensation, a fully adaptive LED headlight and the same 10.25 inch color TFT screen. display as R 1250 RT.
BMW K 1600 Grand America
The K 1600 Bagger features a low rear section inspired by the true blue Bagger style, and the K 1600 Grand America is derived from it. The latter has additional tourist equipment. The K 1600 GTL, on the other hand, comes standard with a top case.
