Yamaha Motors has unveiled the 2020 Bolt cruiser motorcycle. The new Yamaha Bolt (2020) carries the same retro bobber-style theme as its predecessors. The motorcycle is expected to be marketed in international markets by June 2020.
In terms of design, the Yamaha Bolt 2020 has a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, the bike features minimal graphics with clean body panels. The Yamaha Bolt cruiser offers a low seat height of just 690mm, giving riders a comfortable and relaxed riding position. Other features of the bike include all-around LED lighting, a fully digital instrument panel, retro-style turn signals and parking lights.
The Yamaha Bolt 2020 cruiser comes in a range of two variants: Standard and R. The difference between the two variants is noticeable in the configuration of the wheels and the suspension. The Standard variant has wire wheels while the âRâ variant has cast alloy rims. The Yamaha Bolt R also features gold highlights on the suspension setup, giving it a more sporty look; something that the standard variant is missing.
The âStandardâ and âRâ variants of the Yamaha Bolt cruiser are powered by the same engine. This comes in the form of a 942cc air-cooled V-twin engine producing 53hp at 5,500rpm and 80Nm of torque at 3,000rpm, mated to a five-speed gearbox. speeds.
The suspension of the Yamaha Bolt cruiser 2020 is managed by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and a set of double shocks at the rear. Braking is provided by single discs at both ends, supported by dual channel ABS as standard.
Although the bike goes on sale in June 2020, Yamaha has already revealed prices for the 2020 Bolt Cruise in the Japanese market. The 2020 Yamaha Bolt is priced at 979,000 yen (around Rs 6.94 lakh) for the âStandardâ variant and 1,025,200 yen (around Rs 7.27 lakh) for the high-end âRâ variant.
